Featured THRIFT STORE FIND - MID CENTURY BAR CART; BY MILO BAUGHMAN?

I saw this at my local thrift store today & my first thought was "Mid Century Modern'! I asked how much & for $40 + tax I drove happily home with it sticking out of the trunk of my Sonata like the tail of a bird dog on the hunt!
Googling I found what I thought was mine in a 'Milo Baughman' bar cart but a second look tells me it's not the same.
Does anyone know who made this?
Was it made by a designer or was it just a big box store's version of cool in the 60's - 70's?
Either way I think it's got a cool look (it has 3 glass sections on bottom tier that look like you'd store albums there!) and I should do better than my investment (fingers crossed)!

This is the same as the bottom part of the etagere unit made by DIA, often attributed to Baughman but never proven. In fact a DIA spokesperson has said that a relationship with Baughman was not about any of these designs.
Of course you will find many sellers attributing these to Baughman but they remain unproven as far as I know.

Like I said sellers are attributing these to Baughman, DIA is the manufacturer and denies Baughman designed for them.

 

By the way, as a DIA piece you did good buying it for $40+!
Some 1stdibs dealer will buy it for a few hundred and list it as a Baughman bar cart for $1,500.

 

It is gorgeous, whatever it is, and seems to be in fabulous condition.
