Found this oil on board painting today at a local thrift store - it's smaller (8 x 10 painting itself + 16 x 18.5 w/frame) but that frame I thought was beautiful!
I tried googling Hanz artist but nothing came up for a painter/artist - this isn't a factory art painting, is it?

Hum... I'd be very suspicious of that one.

Modern. Stuck in a antiqued looking frame. The back of it says it all.

Everything about the back screams brand new. Also the child on the right is likely an alien in disguise.

Another tell is the haste in which it was painted. Minimum effort for maximum effect.

I thought it might be a factory painting but for $19.95 I thought the frame was a steal.

I think that might have been painted by Hans "Neezan" Boomp-Sday Zee

Also, look at the brush strokes. These factory paintings usually have an over-glaze and the brush strokes don't follow paint strokes.

I agree - new decorator piece. The frame is killer though. The painting isn't anything to write home about.
