Hi All! Appealing to those more knowledgeable and resourceful than myself. I have this beautiful Tiffany and Co. sterling tray, measuring 18 x 14” and weighing 64 troy ounces. I can date the piece to 1924 but I am struggling to identify the pattern. Any idea?

The 20362 on the left in the mark will place in a year based on the table at the bottom of the Date Code link you attached ;)

That number is sometime in 1924.

Daniel - holloware patterns are frequently offered without a pattern name. In this case Tiffany's pattern number (20362) is probably all you'll ever find.

Sorry that I was not clear. I meant to indicate the pattern (not the piece) was established in 1924. I am struggling to identify that pattern.

Thank you, bakersgma. That explains my tribulations. I love the pattern and I am surprised that it was not used more.

Well, now that I'm looking more carefully, it does not look the same.

I just checked Tiffany's archive service and for the small fee of $1,000 and a six-month wait...

@Bakersgma, would this just be a design element that was added to the like tray on 1st DIBS????

Customization would be my guess. Perhaps a device of the family that owned it.

Thank you Shangas. The photo does not do the piece proper justice. The silver work is just fabulous. I melted 300 lbs of sterling when it hit $28.40/t.o. This was among the 200 lbs that are higher end and I refuse to melt at any price.
