Vintage Paisley Pattern Tapestry style clutch marked Tiffany & Co Makers. That's what i've worked out so far, I think. The little metal piece on the front with the monogram looks gold, but there are no visible marks. The one piece of the button snap has a the letters/numbers zz888 etched in it by hand. The other section looks like it has the letters FCUC or FGUG or some combination of those.

I've seen similar vintage purses and item from Tiffany, some with the same marking, but haven't found one with this pattern yet. Doesn't really come across as a high value item to counterfeit, but who knows. tif.jpg tiff2.jpg tif3.jpg tif4.jpg

It's an envelope clutch. No reason to think it's not genuine and monogram isn't set in gold. It should be silk. What does the interior look like?

Saw it in with 4 other purses/clutches in a lot on ebay. The other ones don't seem to be anything special. The listing sat for 4-5 days and then the seller marked it down to $35 so I decided why not.

I see some shattering. Does the lining feel like silk? Envelope clutches were popular in the 1950s/1960s but could be earlier. Not sure when that Tiffany & Co. Makers font was used as hard to see. Perhaps you can do so here.
