Tiny Elephant, pos. Pewter or Silver, not sure of use though?

    Hi, if anyone has any info on this little elephant please could you let me know, the inner is lined with red velvet or felt and there is a small opening at the mouth then a large opening on the back with a hinged lid

    Trunk up- is Lucky Elephant. It’s a trinket/keepsake box. Your photos are a bit dark to determine metal, but google shows several pewter examples. It does not strike me as silver. Brighter photos could help.

    I wanted to post more pictures of the piece, its original box, and the insert that came with it but the photos are all too large. How do you reduce the size?
