Old Czech glass beads from the look of them. Maybe some Japanese. 7 is fiber optic I think.... I love the little compass pendant. The glass opal one is definitely old.

I'm going to see what I can do in the way of enamel paint to restore this one once I've got OH to solder new pin on.

I think the light green ones may be lamp wound glass beads.

    Number 4 with the swirls?
I've got a few sets like that so it's useful to have a name for them. Thankyou.

Yup, #4 with the swirls, which are caused by the glass being wound around a mandrel. This page has an explanation...

I'd like to see these liberated from those ill-fitting bead caps:

Anything on the back of said woman? Or can I see the back please? Nice bit of tin glaze.

Soak those wire wrapped ones in cheap vinegar. They will come up really well.

Yes! I wanted too but thought it may be a no no. Can I lose the bronze ones too?

I will post a photo of the back of the partly dressed lady when I get home.
I’ll give the beads a go with vinegar but I may have other plans for them :)

I like the bead caps -- they help date the necklace, which is quite old (maybe 20s-30s Flapper/Art Deco). Some appear to be better fitted than others to the camphor glass beads. If they were mine, I'd try to push the tips in with jewelry pliers. There's a very similar necklace listed on Etsy for $74.03. https://www.etsy.com/listing/698500204/gold-necklace-vintage-camphor-glass-bead

Great search skills Joan!. That's identical. I usually go by eBay sold prices as an estimate but on these beads they are all over the place from a few pounds up to £60-£80!.

20s/30s someplace, I think. The dark green beads could easily be pre-WWII Czech.

    Very nice, K.:)
Never mind, just wrap her up during winter and she'll be fine.
I like her too, is she porcelain?

#4 green swirl beads are very much like Czech glass pendants I was looking at for earrings the other day. Those pendants were 1920s.:)
My earrings are older, but I found the right pendants (stunning!) at the same Czech shop. Eagerly awaiting their arrival.:nailbiting:
Definitely a nono, please leave it as is. It is designed that way, and collectible.
