The guy I bought something from went round early and found a massive 18k articulated horse for £1

The movement in the horse was something I've never seen before

It does look like a glass opalite ring in the pictures, but ...maybe you scored! The squared-off bangle looks like legit tortoiseshell, btw. They were still legal to make in the Caribbean well into the 90s.

 

Yes, I bought one in the Caribbean in the 1980s.
