TODAY'S FIND - ESPOSITO PAINTING BY EDUARDO ESPOSITO?

    I found this at my local thrift store today - I believe this is an original painting by Cuban artist Eduardo Esposito?
    It's not a big painting - 21.5"x 18" (canvas only), but if it is Eduardo Esposito painting than I think I hit a home run!
    PS - It also has a drawing or the start of a painting on the back.
    Is this Eduardo Eposito's signature?

    His full name is Eduardo Expósito Gonzalez.

    Looks legit to me, but I'm only familiar with his work as of about 10 minutes ago. :joyful:

    Don't know (remember) where you're located but... Artist did have a number of shows in the U.S. San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Miami. You may be able to track down gallery where this was exhibited/sold for more information.

    Here's one list of his solo exhibits. Miami not included. Not sure where I saw it but will try to track back down. At the UnderFidel exhibition in Los Angeles linked below "The works available belong to a collection entitled “Estados del Tiempo,” which was exhibited in the Universidad de Colima, Cuba in January of 2004. The works consist of figuratively altered visages placed in backdrops that range from complete blackness to vivid red and blue tones." Sounds like your piece.
