Featured Toi Et Moi Ring

    Does anyone recognise the marks on this ring? It tests as 9 carat gold, the marks are on the outside of the shank but are too rubbed to get much detail unfortunately. I think I can see a fish in the one, the other possibly a 9 - I can't even seem to track down the country so far, any suggestions gratefully received. ring1.jpg ring2.jpg ring3.jpg ring4.jpg

    I think I see an S above the nose of the fish.
    Could the 9 be the beginning of 925, ie: gold over silver?

    No, it is solid gold, when I got it someone had filed a shoulder to test it, had to polish out the file marks.
