Torch with a star of David?

Does anybody know what this might possibly be? It has a wick at the end and smells like fuel. It has the initials WFZ and the star is red which might help in the pictures. It is approx. 6" tall and 8" wide. Any info is appreciated.

or for a families use on the passing of a loved one...?

 

It looks like a miners torch.

 

Called an “oil wick” or “teapot” lamp.

I think they're reaching. Why would a Zionist organization need such a lamp? Could be the red 6-pointed star is a red herring & have no Jewish connection at all.
