Well, I'd sit it on a fence post and blast it with a shotgun, it is more spooky than cute.

    Hi,
Definately based on Raggedy Andy. If it was Annie she would have on a pintafore and not shorts.

Not in any of the links posted above ... but that was what I searched (unsuccessfully) for first, because it looks as if it should be one!

Good finds Cheryl & quickygirl! Cheryl's find shows the bottom that reads "Made in Hong Kong" and seller dating it 1970s. One of Quirky's finds call it the sailor boy of the pair for "Ned & Nellie." They were night lites that originally sat on a grey plastic base.

"These adorable Raggedy Ann Friends "Ned & Nellie" night-lite figures were produced in Hong Kong in 1969. They were originally designed as night-lites and sat on a grey plastic base that required two C batteries. The light bases are not included with this listing, however generic replacements light bases are available. We prefer to keep our vintage collectibles in their original condition so you will notice some fading and patina due to their age. These Ned & Nellie night-lights are extremely rare and hard to find collectibles. They will make a unique addition to your Raggedy Ann collection. Sold only as a set, we have only ONE Ned & Nellie set available in stock."
