A few weeks ago, I bought this Collins edition of Treasure Island

    Not dated.
With Google, I found an edition with a blue cover, and one with a brown cover. And one with a green cover, but that one has an embossed image on the cover. I haven't been able to find an edition like this mine.

It will be a pre 25th May 1936 edition, because:

Didn't find any info on the High Street Boys School (in connection with Northfleet / Swanscombe).
Also not finding any info on the annual athletic sports / hurdle race.
And I'm also unable to figure out what the name of the honorary secretary is.

I read the date as 1932 (so your edition is a little older than 1936).

sometimes with undated issues, the dates can often be on the end advertising pages, sometimes ;)

I will check it again later today, but I think this time it isn't one of those sometimes, as in the description of this blue cover version https://countryhouselibrary.co.uk/products/robert-louis-stevensons-treasure-island-collins-1 they also mention that it isn't dated.

Originally, it might have had a slip case, like this burgondy edition (also not dated)

Yes (partially visible in the 2nd spine pic), but not in such a good state as the one from the link.

Robert Louis Stevenson is one of those authors I go back to from time to time. "Kidnapped" is a favorite, as is "Treasure Island".

To this day, I won't eat at Long John Silver's, supposedly a "great little seafood shoppe".

I found both kidnapped and treasure island in a goodwill dumpster years ago, both in good condition.
