Not sure if this is a musical instrument or a ritual thing. The beads look handmade and are glass. Anyone know the age or what where etc. about this ?

    Thank You

The beads are West African (probably Ghana) powder glass beads. It could be called a "shekere", a rattle used in West African and Latin American music. Probably 20th century.
