Featured Trying to figure out origin & era on this piece

    This is a family heirloom, an actress gave it to my great grandmother in San Francisco in the early 1900's. It is thought to be from before the 1800's, but we are unsure. I believe it is a Moriage Vase, or it could be slip wear. It is unmarked.

    We are trying to figure out what the country this piece was created in, what style is it, and what era is it from?

    Given the kimono and Mount Fuji in the painted decoration, likely produced in Japan. Lovely!!

    This is true Moriage. Lovely.
    You didn't show the bottom, I suspect Nippon. Late 1800s.
