I'm wondering if it might be a souvenir from here or whether it's a regimental thing related to the regiment mentioned in the article on Wikipedia.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

A "sweetheart brooch" from a cemetery? Or just a remembrance pin for someone buried there?

it's a bayonet....and could be any bayonet but it has the look of a Mauser.... m1908...with that curved quillon ending in a ball.
It looks well made & not something I'd give my sweetheart...........

I agree, I think there's more to it than that. Also knowing the history of it's original owner who was in both wars.
