I’ve had no luck at deciphering or researching this mark! Any ideas what the 50 Gr means and the LL please? Something written above it but I can’t read it. The white dot on the turquoise was dirt
    Thanks for any help :)

French and plated, The 50G is for the amount of gold(?) used in the plating. Probably for more than one of those rings if the links aren't plated.

The LL with the zigzag in between is the maker's mark. Maybe @kyratango can help with the maker's name?

    I don't think that's turquoise. I think it's dyed howlite.

It seems to be whitish around the bead hole, so it could be dyed howlite or dyed magnesite, or even another lookalike.
    Pretty necklace, whatever the material.:)

I’m not knowledgeable enough to have an opinion but I’m not so sure it’s Howlite, that white spot was dirt and I’ve got some howlite and it feels and looks slightly different. I wonder when Howlite was first used, if I could pin down a date for the makers mark that could help.
The matrix is definitely a different coloured stone. I’ll look up magnesite :)
    It’s not going anywhere :)
    More images on the way.

At one point, dyed turquoise wasn't considered that valuable and was used with costume settings.

I like it a lot and I absolutely am uncertain but it doesn’t ring as turquoise to me and I do collect turquoise. Won’t be the first time I’m wrong and hope I am.
