Two Aquamarine Fish Shape Bottles

Not sure if bottle is the right term.
Any idea what are those, who, when and where?

Italian wine bottles

 

perhaps candy, mouth looks a bit large for liquid ? but no scale to the pictures. But what the heck do I know? Nice looking either way

The big fish opening is about 1 1/4", a little too big for wine bottle. Any why the lips are so rough?

 

Forgot to mention that they are different sizes, about 11" and 12" long. And the bodies seem to be mad eof two parts.

 

The wine bottle listed on etsy is a different animal (no pun intended) it has a longer body and spout (more like a bottle). These being made in two parts throws another wrinkle into it and may rule out use with a liquid. for me its sort of like "what do you get when you cross an elephant and a rhinoceros ? an el if ino !
Oh the ground lip treatment is where they ground off rough glass from the blowpipe.

 

I think these are fantasy wine bottles, unlike the amber one shown in the link above. (Thanks - Jen and George)

 

Fantasy, like for decoration puspose only?
If these are commercial products I wonder why did not they polished the lips.

The centerpiece is not marked but it is very similar to Blenco.
This centerpiece measures 9" long by 5" tall and 5" wide.
