    Hi everyone,

I purchased 3 Art Nouveau antique pewter pin dishes. 1 is by Swiss artist Jules Courvoisier, signed "Courvoisier". I have 2 others, smaller, and am unsure of the maker/artist.

1st is signed with the initials JC or CJ. Could this be JC = Jules Courvoisier, or CJ = Dutch artist Christiaan "Chris" Johannes Van Der Hoef, or somebody else?

The 2nd is signed with the signature starting with a V. Unable to read.

    Thank you for your time. Art N pindish copy.JPG Art N pindish1 copy.JPG Art N pindish2 copy.JPG Art N shall dish copy.JPG Art N shall dish1 copy.JPG Art N shall dish2 copy.JPG

The word that starts with a V appears to be Virgo. Not sure if that is meant to be the artist or the subject.

Why is the seller calling it a cup? That makes no sense. With the better detail in the pictures, I can agree that the name might be Virgil, but the rest really doesn't look like Morey to me.

That "sea monster?" is really creepy!

I didn't either. Actually you can't "scroll" or individually select a picture from the array on the left. I didn't even catch the arrows that let you advance the slideshow.
