    Can't find these, so I'm cheating and asking the assembled wisdom. ;)

    I seriously love that penguin! These look post 1950, so I’m surprised it doesn’t say “Foreign” but maybe they were produced prior to WW2? When did “West Germany” and DDR start to be marked? Doubtful a factory can be found with just Germany marked, but they are super cute!
