Featured Two little wooden shoe pin cushions, age?

    Hello! Hoping you can help with the age of these two shoe shaped pin cushions (the slightly larger one is missing the pin cushion part but there are remnants of velvet), Victorian maybe? Any idea what kind of wood they are? Thanks for any info!
