Just wondering if anyone might know who made these statues or any information on them.. I can’t find any information on the internet. Any info will help.

I'm not sure the words "very old" apply. Can you post better quality photographs? Shot straight on? And in focus close-up photographs of the marks? Also... size and the material from which they are made.

All I know about the pieces is that my grandfather who was born in 1928 said he remembers them in his grandmother house. The texture of them feels like solid ceramic.. I have no experience in this field, I’m just hopping to gain some insight!

So... They at least date to the 1930s/1940s when your grandfather would have remembered seeing them. As I wrote before, better quality photographs would be helpful. Size too. Could they be chalkware? And are they, in your opinion, meant to be a pair?

I see red clay under the glaze
Also see the letters H K and maybe an F.

Size and pictures straight on, and one of the face please.

    Are you in the US?

Here are a few more pictures, hopefully these help. Thanks for all the feed back. Sorry about the symbol picture, but that’s the best angle to see anything, the symbol is almost worn off.

So she has a wagon and he's carrying a ...? Certainly 20th century. It would be helpful to see her hair.
