Hello everyone, I have come across this cup or goblet and I am trying to establish its age/origin or even what it is made of. I am unable to find any identifiable makers marks (or any marks other than decorative). It is very heavy for its size View.jpg . Any advice as where I could start to find out more info? Thanks,

    Tim

Can you take it outdoors or at least somewhere light and photograph it? You could get better focus and more even lighting. Also take a picture of the bottom and inside and provide some dimensions and weight, please.

Also any provenance including where you are, Chipping Norton or Chicago makes a big difference.

It looks like Middle Eastern style metal work to me. Just a guess, but that's where I'd start.
Ditto what afantiques said about getting better photos with less glare.:D
