Sconce signature small.jpg Sconce in full small.jpg Hi, does anyone have any further info concerning the maker of these sconces?
The maker's mark says JD 191. They look to be 1700s-1800s (likely the latter) with this mark, but can find zero info on them. They are clearly quite rare.

Any help would be much appreciated!

People will be along who know more than I do about this type of item.
In the meantime, could you go to your post, click "edit" and click "full image" for your two images? That will display them in full rather than as thumbnails, and will make viewing and responding much easier.
    And welcome, by the way!
