Unknown chair from norway

    We bought this chair in 2019, but still we havent found anything that could help us to find out:

    When it was made...
    Type of chair...
    Or any other information...

    Hie!
    I'd say it's a Victorian dining chair, circa 1870/80's. Those legs are totally 1880's but the back is so strange? I'm guessing it was a balloon back but someone decided to upholster it. You will never know unless you remove that leather.
    Here is something pretty similar in shape
