Featured Unknown Mark -Please help!

    Please can anyone help me identify who made this tray and whether it is of value. Thank you.

    Possibly French. I would look at Porcelaine de Paris or Samson. I get the marks between the two confused.

    Is this the mark? I'm not convinced there is sufficient similarity (but I can't say there isn't):

    The thing flying over their heads, or the tiny thing to the left or the right of the central image... are they covering tiny flaws in the porcelain?

    These are versions of the mark from Rontgen's book. Has it been copied or reused? I don't know.

    Neither do I. I guess it's looking pretty good. I can't tell from the photos if it is hand painted, but the layout seems to me okay for 18th C. I would like an answer to my previous question.

    I just don't see c1770. It's reticulated. The decoration (painting) doesn't jibe with that era. But, I could be wrong.

    I'm still leaning towards a French reproduction. Good quality but not a circa 1770's piece and the decoration feels more French to me than German. Might be worth running it past an auction house specializing in Vienna porcelain.
