I may be wrong even calling this unusual but I hadn't seen a labourer depicted on carnival glass before.

I'd be guessing he is working with glass but could be anything else.

    Has anyone seen it before?

I have seen it before, it's not rare, likely not a popular piece.
Similarly, I've had the Spirit of '76 plate before and garage saled it...

I don't follow carnival glass very much so it's probably little bold for me to call anything unusual.

Im glad I can see the plate a little better in that ebay listing. It does look like a glass blower. Not a pretty scene.

Update: Fenton glass. Commemorative of the first glassblower who settled in 1608 Jamestown.
