Unusual Cast Metal (Heavy Bowl) Stamped 428 - any ideas of marks?

    Hi everyone,

    I have a very unusual looking metal bowl, quite heavy for its size, its stamped on the bottom, I wondered if anyone could give me any information?

    It's Berlin under the mark. Looks bronze - B something B.
