Unusual Crock?

    Hey everyone, I found this crock at a yard sale and know nothing about it. There’s no markings on it. I was wondering if anyone had seen one or knows what it was used for.

    WAG - moonshine/whiskey jug? And the holes were for wiring the cork in place??
