    Hi all,
Just picked up this interesting piece of studio pottery. Not sure what it is use is, other than decorative, though maybe a lantern as the holes good for letting light through from a candle or similar.

Is signed with 3 letters not sure what they are though.

Looks a good quality and unusual piece. Anybody any ideas?

    Thanks
    Paul

Pots for orchids have ventilation like this but would expect a hole in the bottom as well.

I've cleaned it up now and it did have signs of soil so probably used as a planter/vase
