Apologies these aren’t anywhere near antique but I wonder if anyone recognises the style?. The discs are so unusual and pretty and the hooks look different to the norm.
No worries if they are very new and tat but they look carefully made.
    Thankyou for looking :)

Looks like it's from the 70s art deco style.

They could have been made from clothes buttons perhaps?

As KSW said. Also have a look at Introductions where at the top Davey Dempsey gives posting advice.

Could be. Very smooth inside edges so suspect manufactured like this as an amateur crafter is more likely not to be able to finish a cut edges so well. They do have an amateur vibe about them though. Probably no chance of ID but I thought as a long shot someone may recognise them.

I'd say made from collar buttons.

    Thanks OBB.
Does 70s fit with these or not possible to say?

I'd think those are much more recent than the 1970s. Contemporary, I'd think.

Maybe the style of the of the metal findings will help to date them? My first thoughts were "sweetheart" earrings made by a serving military person. My late father made jewellery for my mum which he crafted from pieces of plastic during the 1940s whilst he was serving in te RAF.

The findings are not terribly old.

The buttons may be 30s ish, but the findings are new.

Gotta say, those don't look like buttons to me, they look like nice quality lucite/acrylic discs, maybe French, and would think the same age as the findings...

The earwires are distinctive for sure. I buy earring supplies and haven't seen those before, so if French or European, might explain it. I would also guess that the earrings are relatively newer, 1990s or later.

I love the disc beads. Really pretty.

Cheryl, I'm thinking they're the same as old collar/shirt studs & buttons for chaps. I've got some.

Although most buttons have 2 holes rather than just 1. Some tunic/coat buttons do have swivel metal eyes though. I'd still wager they are buttons!

Collar studs and buttons have one hole.

OBB do you have a photo of a collar stud please?
The only ones I can find are the ones with the brass bit on the back. Not important but I’m interested to see. Thankyou.
