Another unmarked piece I know nothing about. The body of the piece is a soft metal that feels to me like lead. It weighs 8.5 lbs. and is about 9.5" tall. Pewter and brass. Chinese and fairly modern.

Somewhere in my packed boxes, I have a low bowl that is quite similar in appearance to this vase.

As Brad has said, it is pewter with brass accents, made in China.

I purchased my bowl new, ca.1990, in one of the higher-end Asian import stores that were around at that time. (The one I frequented was in Rockville, MD, but I know they also were located in many other areas.)
