Featured USA pin with a 2-stripe sergeants insignia that includes a "T" suspended by chains

    This piece is 1 1/4" top to bottom, 1" across the USA & 3/4" across the stripes.

    It is marked sterling on the back of the stripes & I will clean it up before listing it. I thought it was brass & was shocked when I looked at the photos. :rolleyes::rolleyes::bag:

    I am assuming this is some type of homefront pin but what is the significance of the "T"? Is it associated with a particular branch of service?

    DH thinks it might be for a WWII 'Tech Corporal'......but would need to be checked... it's been a while!!! And looking above, it looks like @Roaring20s probably already answered it!:rolleyes::singing:
