This piece is 1 1/4" top to bottom, 1" across the USA & 3/4" across the stripes. It is marked sterling on the back of the stripes & I will clean it up before listing it. I thought it was brass & was shocked when I looked at the photos. I am assuming this is some type of homefront pin but what is the significance of the "T"? Is it associated with a particular branch of service? Thanks for any & all advice or opinions!!

@Roaring20s - Thanks so much!!! Here is one that sold just recently on eBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/185561898307?nordt=true&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc WWII US Army Sweetheart Jewelry USA 'Sterling' & Technician 5th Grade
DH thinks it might be for a WWII 'Tech Corporal'......but would need to be checked... it's been a while!!! And looking above, it looks like @Roaring20s probably already answered it!
