USA is not a pottery company.
It was put there as the country of origin.

Several different companies marked this way.
Pottery isn't my area. So I don't know who might have made this.

People come and go at all hours so be sure to check back.

Thank you! Yea, I’m familiar with the mark. I always get puzzled by them! I’ll have to wait...I stayed up way past my bedtime. Thanks so much for your help!!

I wonder if this is Shawnee Pottery......they did a line in matte white finish.

There are quite a few people online that have identified this as McCoy. I can't say but in my McCoy book there is listed an urn 8¼" high and 6¼" diameter model 0446FF which would be from their Fineforms line but no photo of that exact one. Perhaps you can check your measurements. In style it looks like it could be.

They do show a photo a typical bottom from another in the line.

It is a nice piece. If you look a little closer his vase shows 446 above the USA.

It is just their example of a base marking from the line.

Hey all! Good afternoon! It definitely has the clean lines look. That would be exciting if it was a McCoy. Is everyone confident enough that I can list it as such??
