Got some used-tools today; this is a good opportunity to test yourself, how many can you identify? Most of them I'll use sooner or later, and for some duplicates, I'll try and trade for something else I need. The pink bucket is full of Large diameter drill bits.
Very good! You could get one more by reading I think, I put my pix up using links to el grosso images, so they can be stretched on most puters I think. I found the yellow box-like item too attractive to resist.
Um, I could have said "Power Grip", but beyond a few S&M encounters, I have no idea WHAT that is................though the Caution caution probably applies equally to both applications.............. Oh LORD! Its a magnet! Now THAT could be fun
Is there a magnetic drill in there somewhere? I've seen them used for machinery repairs in shipyards. (They just hate when someone unplugs the magnet while they are using it.)
'Zakly why I got it, fun not work, I think it'll provide some good you-tube material. I could also use it for picking up girls (but how to find the good-looking ones with steel plates in their heads?)
Yeah, that would be key - no point in finding the ones wearing steel chastity belts........................
o my......... ---------------------------- KEY! Good one Mansons!!! ~ They're fiberglass today and I.....wait I don't know this....
Verry good, DF! Yes, mikes they are, almost free so I didn't even check to see if they work or are accurate. They are easily calibrated anyway. The three things looking like gear reducers are Ettco tapping machines. The tapered shaft fits into a drill press spindle with matching 2MT taper, then a screw- thread tap of the size you need clamps into the lower spindle of the Ettco thing. The machine runs clockwise with the drill press until the tap is through the hole being tapped, then reverses itself to screw the tap back out of the hole. If you've ever hand-tapped a hole in metal (very time-consuming!) you know why these machines exist.
