    Hi k,
Just love the woodblock print and given the way the ink has bled through to the reverse, it is original. I love the colours and detail.
What I don’t understand is how the writing on the reverse hasn’t absorbed and penetrated through to the front. Sorry I can’t help with the translation, but the seals look impressive.
I have several original erotic Japanese woodblock prints, shunga, which I won’t post here, plus a couple of other more traditional landscapes.

If you hold the paper against the light you can see the ink on the opposite sides. But otherwise you can’t tell if there is something on the reverse, especially with backing paper or board.
I kept it in a frame for a long time and hand no idea of the verso till I recently took it out of the frame.
The writings on the back are so scattered and there are quite a few seals, really curious what are they about.
I guess it won’t be a problem posting erotic images. Art is art.
