#1 Have some kind of marking on both cant make it out. One is missing a stone. Age?
#2 Unsigned pin ? age or maker?
#3 Weiss earrings. Are these considered smoky rhinestones? And is it rhodium plate? Age?
#4 Anyone know if these are glass or stone?
#5 Coro necklace. Who is on the medallion? Looks kind of like a Spanish Conquistador? Juan Ponce de Leon? Age?

Thanks again in advance. I will probably have to add bigger images of the cross earrings to show the mark.

2019-04-26-15-17-02-426.jpg Large image of marking on earrings #1. It kind of looks like a fish and a number nine with a cursive signature above and all in a square. Both have this. Capture.PNG

Your Coro necklace likely dates to the 1970s when chains, lots of chains, was a thing. A generic conquistador, I would think.

Are those striped dangle earrings a little cold to the touch and glassy? They may be banded Agate.

    I sure do like those!

You'll have to look for bubbles or flow lines (glass)

I can't tell you how to ID Agate. I can, if it's in my hands... A more solid feel and sound when gently tapped.

I don't think the mark on #1 is a maker's mark. These earrings look more recent, esp. as they are pierced and the stones look glued in. Pretty colors, someone who likes big cross earrings might enjoy them.

    Nice job with the photos.

They feel cold. And the design looks identical to me. I don't see any bubbles. I will post a large pic.

I'd say yes on Agate by the refractions

    Agree with Lucille about #1
#2 looks like the jewelry sold in the 1990s.
    #3 1960s screw backs.

Those could be Mexican Onyx, really travertine, too. It almost doesn't matter price-wise, but travertine is a much softer stone. The mark on those crosses looks like a really blurry silver mark and might even be. They're made like silver earrings more than straight costume. Companies have been known to glue rhinestones into sterling settings.

I hadn't thought of Mexican onyx (or travertine), @evelyb30

I thought the top surface and the beads could be smoother.

    Isn't travertine generally opaque?

It comes in that banded brown too, early and often.

Those roses were wildly the thing in the 60s.

I used the magnet on them and they don't really do anything but the hoop that connects the top to the bottom gets sucked right up.

Maybe to be on the safe side check for sterling for the cross earrings. Going from the one small photo of the front, it looked like a lower end setting, although maybe a close up photo of the front, a real close up, would give more info. Thinking these are from the last 30 years, you might expect a clear maker's mark if sterling, not blurry illegible -- but having said that I don't have them in the hand. Sounds like part of the construction is positively not sterling if the magnet attracted it. But that the magnet did not attract the rest of it doesn't mean silver, many base metals used in jewelry do not attract a magnet. Best just to test if any question though.

Since we are talking about stones, I had a few I wanted to know about as well.

#1 is 2 stones from a bracelet. I don't know what it is.
#2 Is 2 stones from another bracelet. Not sure if it is real turquoise. I used acetone on them and nothing came off?
#3 2 views of the same stone, don't know what it is? Could it be jade?
    #4 Tiger's eye? Untitled-10.jpg
