Hi, I'm avoiding a must-do list so ... this vase. It's about 10 inches tall and 5 at its widest and is quite heavy, around 3lbs. We've had it for maybe 25 years and it was in the same bashed condition when it came home from some auction sale. I haven't any great expectations, but Japanese? Chinese? Egyptian (eyeballs)? 450 years old or not so much? Any comments welcome. Thanks very much. P1110690 (1).jpg P1110691.jpg P1110692.jpg P1110694.jpg P1110695.jpg

Yeah, it's Japanese all right, bottoms of these often fall out and get soldered back in. Done a few myself.

Thanks. So 30s, 40s? Mass-produced and a bit of detail hammered in? I should perhaps have said 'ancient Egyptian eyes". (That is one scary eyeball, @Any Jewelry!) hqdefault.jpg
