Vase and Pitcher (or maybe another vase)?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone recognize these pieces?

Kneejerk reaction on the big green one (13.75" x 7.25" and 7 lbs 10 oz) is a Mccoy piece . . .

Thinking the other (10.5" x 5.25" x 3.25" and 2 lbs) is from Germany. Probably wrong on both counts.

I'd bet money your first one is McCoy without doing a little research

 

I don't know if this your green vase or not. From my Nissen and Hanson, McCoy book. Vase #82 seems to have been in the 30s and 40s catalogs.

 

Second is air brush and transfer, probably 20s.

 

Thanks, Say it . . . I think you are correct! Looks like some sellers have called it "leaves and berries" vase--others "palm leaves."

 

Thanks, OBB. So how should I tag it? "Unknown Art Deco vase, airbrush and transferware technique, flowers (roses?) theme"? Also, any guess on origin?

Not Art Deco, it's not in that style. The shape is nouveau if anything. You've some hand painted embellishments. That base looks German or Austrian to my eye.

The second reminds me of pieces put out by Lefton and some of the other post war Japanese manufacturers.
