Vase Help

    I bought this at a estate sale but I really don't know what it would be used for. Would it be a bud vase or just for decoration? I haven't took off the sticker on the bottom but does it look hand blown? It cost 70 dollars at one time. Thanks everybody for all the help you have given me.     I had one rather similar to yours - the blue was more "stripes" than "dots", but otherwise, it was much the same. My daughter has it at her place, or I would provide a photo. I bought it in Mexico in 1991.

    I bought these 2 at the same time. The clear one has a sterling silver "bow" around the neck. I've always just heard them called "ball vases".

    I have used them for flowers and to root cuttings from houseplants. At the moment, they are just "on display" in the downstairs powder room, on what used to be a CD rack:
