Looks like a pitcher not a vase.
    Sorry can't help.

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

    Yeah, pitcher, I think.
And it's a log or a tree trunk? And are those flowers? On a tree? Orchids?
    Where's OwnedByBear?

With a hole on a side it resembles a pitcher, but seller told me it was a vase in their possesion for as long as he remembers(50 years)

I cannot make out the flowers. the colour is light violet. It might be open irises or orchids.

Size? Maybe pitcher for maple syrup given the design, if in correct size range for a MSP. Can't read letters on bottom, KIL?

Spring? This is a bit small calibre for you!?
It is 3x9inch and it surely isnt maple syrup pitcher because its 90% european and here maple syrup is not used.

Thanks for the size info. You can't always tell for sure by where things turn up-that's the fallacy of "I got it in a box lot and it was in the same box as a 6000-year old Egyptian gold funerary mask, so that means...." (nothing, really.) The pitcher may have been brought to Europe by a Canadian military exchange officer.

Nothing is certain. For all I know it might have been brought from Halifax in 1915. on the same boat with my grandfather, if it were that old.
Strange things turn up here from all over the world.

On the other hand , I do reckognise the sign. I see it quite often on sales, but not vases. Only crude dinnerware

Fungi, rather than flowers. I think it's a small jug, too. I also think the script is not the English alphabet. Looks Armenian maybe.

To me it screams 70's, but my mom says she remembers such stuff from her high school days back in fifties.
