Can anyone shed any light on these three tea cups? Origin, worth or any history on them would be much appreciated:)

I agree on Japanese, but the mark on the bottom is upside down.

20th century I'd guess, but beyond that I have no idea other than Japanese. It's the sort of thing someone stationed there in the military would have brought home for Mama as a souvenir.

I can't help with the mark, but I know that SOME butterfly handle tea cups sell for quite a bit on ebay. Do a search there and see if you can see one like yours.

Those are the English Paragon butterfly handle cup and saucer sets. I’ve long been on the lookout for an affordable set!
The Paragon flower handle sets bring good money, too.

I got my friend a butterfly handle tea cup and saucer but it was not one of the valuable ones. She had asked me if I ever saw one to please pick it up (we do free trades or gifts with each other).

And legit Japanese, made for the Japanese market. Four is bad luck in Asia, so sets are in 5s.
