    Hi!

I've found a very interesting cupboard. Never seen anthing similar in my life.
My guess is that maybe it's from the Balkan countries but i'm not sure at all. As for its age, my guess is that it's about 60-100 years old maximum. Definitely not as old as it looks like at first glance.
The photos are horrible, they don't show too much details.
Please help me! Any information will be welcome.

The only thing I can offer it that it is older than you think.
I would put this in the 1870s -1890s period.

Can't help with the country of origin.
    Are you in Europe?

    Very nice sideboard

Jófogás is a Hungarian advertising website, maybe that is a clue.

    Thanks for your answer!
Other people told me that maybe it's from the Balkan countries, Bulgaria, Serbia, Romania, Moldova etc. But he wasn't sure in it.
But it's definitely not from West/North/South/Central Europe.
Yes, i'm in Central Europe but never seen a furnite like this, not even a similar one.

Yes, it's a Hungarian website but the furniture was not made in that country.
It's probably from Eastern Europe (Russia, Latvia etc.) or South-East Europe (Bulgaria, Albania etc.)
At least i guess so. :)

Pics are not good enough to tell much. I would agree with clutteredcloset's date and Eastern European is a good bet.

Most Eastern European furniture I remember from 'folk' travels with my mother had abundant floral painting against a colourful background.
German folk furniture sometimes has this mix of natural carved wood and stained or painted panels. Maybe ethnic German from Eastern Europe?
But I agree, we need better pics.
