Featured ? Victoria leaf press

    Hi. Need help on this please. I picked it up about thirty years ago. The lady that had it for sale told me it was a tie press!!
    About 12x16 inches and quite heavy. They whole unit and lid are lined thickly with lead. as always and opinions appreciated

    I could see that . Flower pressing was a huge victorian fad . But it could be a press for any number of things I bet.
