Would anyone have any information on this piece such as information on the maker (Victoria) or the date it was made?

The company may be Victoria China Czechoslovakia, Victoria Porcelain Factory, Schmidt & Co. According to the following website, the company was located in

"...Altrohlau, Bohemia, Czechoslovakia,in business c.1883-1945.This mark was used 1918-1939.(Source:Marks on German, Bohemian, and Austrian Porcelain by Rontgen, pages 173 and 374)."

On the following webpage scroll way down the page to the "V" section and down to "Victoria China Czechoslovakia, Victoria Porcelain Factory, Schmidt & Co." In the left column is a thumbnail of the backstamp. Click it.

A little more info on the company.
