    hello folkies

bought this pottery shoe a while ago, been putting off selling it as theres one selling on ebay for £25 (without any affiliation)

but found another one that sold on xupes for £180

    https://www.google.com/search?q=ant...nSxUIHTqkCHkQ9QF6BAgKEAE#imgrc=wrx-8xH6s_QfQM

if one did sell for that much might be worth buying the other for a pair, paid about £5 for mine

anyone know who the maker might have been

xupes suggests it is "possibly made by Bretby, Ault or Linthorpe"

    any thoughts appreciated

I'm going with Bretby, sure looks like one of their glazes, but again the potteries you mention were all pretty closely related, so unless you can dig up an old catalogue ...has to be an attribution (not that there's anything wrong with that! :bookworm:;):D)
