Vintage/Antique Metal Elephant 3" tall 6"long unknown Maker

    I was going through my storage today and came across this little elephant.It's not iron,doesn't stick to magnet.I'm not sure what type of metal.Appear to be hand painted.I don't see a mark.Any idea who the maker is and the age.Measure 3" tall,6" long.It appear from the side hip it was maybe attached to something.
