i can’t find anything online...I like it tho...any info? What’s it worth? Don’t want to be ripped off. Looks to be hand painted... 8313C2F7-3CB1-4403-98CE-5C9830693CFA.jpeg 0FD7424E-18AD-4FC2-9536-344EABE88861.jpeg 84357C4A-8D8F-4392-8995-2B5EBF82FAAB.jpeg

The label (I think that's a label) is so small I can't make it out . I'd guess that it might be a Japanese cranes box so I'm curious as to why you call it a Glasgow box.

It might help to know the material, can't tell from the picture.

Only you can see the label. I wasn't even successful with a magnifying glass.

Hang on idk why it won’t post a full size pic of the label. It says something in the top I can’t make out and then Glasgow on the bottom. Let me resize it

A shop label probably. But we won't know until we see the label full size.

Those cranes have weird legs. Also, the surface does not look as smooth as I would expect for Japanese lacquer. Perhaps a papier mache box with "oriental" decoration?

Its hard to read the top word.
All I can find similar is.
BIRRELL LIMITED Glasgow, which is a funeral service.

Barlinnie, Glasgow, which is a notorious prison

They certainly do! Whoever drew them thought they were knees to be flexed forward. They really are 'ankles' and should flex the other way to aid in wading - LOL
