Hi, I was wondering if anyone could help me identify this vintage beer crate? My uncle collects beer memorabilia and sent me a couple of pictures of this crate but I couldn't find anything or pictures of it online. If anyone has any information that would be great thanks!

That one sold for 82.00. There are others that sold for around $150.

Pretty sure it's not an original, the color of the wood is too bright, and it's pine that would wharp horribly around any kind of humidity - probably more like a 70's repro - Here's a BUD "case" from the same time period I bought as a BUD promotion for some reason.

? Looks original/ok to me. Same hinges, same top and latching mechanism as all the others. There are thousands of pine boxes out there from the 17-1800's that have survived until now just fine, I see no reason why a mid 1900's beer crate couldn't make it.

Central Breweries, Inc. was in business in E. St. Louis from 1933 to 1939. The value up above seems about right. No reason to suppose its fake. The company probably didn't produce alot of breweriana items, so St. Louis area collectors might pay a bit more for it.

Thank you all for the information. Is this from a brewery or a distributor? From what I read sounds like it's from a brewery
