Vintage Black Wicker Oval Basket

    Hi,
    I have a black wicker oval basket The dimensions are Top: 13” x 11 ¼” Bottom: 9 5/8” x 7 ½” and a 5” Height I was wondering origin of country, how old, type of wood used in making it and worth. Thank you for your assistance in this request. Rob

    ohhh, this one's nice...likely held meats and cheese & crackers from Burnbrea farms from their X-mas collection.

    It looks like a nice sturdy basket. I'm not a basket expert; but it doesn't look that old to me. Probably China. I like spiffing them up with a quick bath under hot water with a toothbrush... drip dry. Probably worth $4-5 dollars...
