I have joined this forum because I have recently inherited some items from my late mother's estate that I need help identifying.
The first item is this blue bowl (mother called it a butter dish) and it belonged to my mother's mother who was born in 1900. I do not know how my grandmother acquired it or really anything else about it. My mother said it once had a lid. It is approximately 7 3/4" in diameter. There are no identifying marks. The flowers are raised paint. Any help identifying this piece would be greatly appreciated. I would love to find a replacement lid but don't know where to start looking. Thanks!
